Embarrassing. I'm up 4 1/2 pounds. I'm not sure if that's a little or a lot compared to what others gain during loading. Eating to capacity is hard - I have felt miserable all day. I keep telling my mama, that I'm so &lt;em&gt;tired&lt;/em&gt; of eating.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My babysister gave me grief yesterday because she's jealous that I'm doing all of this - I brought her along to KFC and she ate with me :).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I started Zerona, as well. I did a treatment on my back and hips, abdomen, and the backs of my arms and back fat. The Zerona process is very simple. I lay down on a massage table, Tamala, the LPN at Sima Clinic, places the machine over the body parts that are being lasered, turns the machine on, and I wait for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, she comes back in, flips me over, moves the machine around, and turns the machine back on. I did drive pretty far north yesterday, and on the way home I started to feel really uncomfortable sitting in the compression. Tomorrow I have to load again. I'm not sure if it's the amount of food, or the compression garments, but after I eat I've been feeling a little nauseous. I start Zerona tomorrow, so today was a "trial-run" of one of the tank tops.&lt;br /&gt;I normally layer a tank top underneath whatever I am wearing, so I just swapped a daily tank for a compression tank. I'm also wearing a skirt with non-compression leggings.&lt;br /&gt;This morning, it took me a full 5+ minutes to actually get myself into this tank top! It's super stretchy around the bottom and the bust, but the middle is like trying to put myself into something that might fit my teddy bear. It's HARD. It's TIGHT. &lt;strong&gt;I am literally trapped in this tank top.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To make matters worse, the tank top has decided that it wants to hang out at the top of my hips, as opposed to halfway down my hips where I'd prefer it. This means that I have spent more of my time today pulling and tugging this tank top down than I have anything else.&lt;br /&gt;The tank top looks great -- as long as I don't move. If I just stand somewhere (after a few minutes of tugging and pulling), it's awesome. My waist looks even smaller, and my little belly pooch is almost non-existant. As soon as I sit down, however, the tank top starts scooting up my sides. As I type, it's bunched up somewhere near my belly button (not only completely not serving it's purpose, but I'm sure as soon as I stand up, if anyone is looking, I'll look pretty strange and even lumpier than normal.)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I guess tomorrow I'll try the full compression "suit" -- body suit and high waist shorts -- and see how well that goes over.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;xo.kayla.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;**UPDATE** -- it takes just as long to get &lt;strong&gt;OUT&lt;/strong&gt; of the compression tank top as it does to get &lt;strong&gt;IN&lt;/strong&gt; it. This is the most recent photograph that I have of myself. It was taken on September 17th at the Jet in Mill Creek.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I am twenty-three. I am two hundred and twenty-five pounds on a good day, usually somewhere between a size 16 and 18. Long story short, I'm fat. I've been fat most of my life. I'm not ashamed or embarrassed by my body - I love my curves. I've got a fantastically small waist, and a pretty spectacular booty. That being said, of course I'd like to be a few (or more) sizes smaller. I'd like to be able to walk into a store, know what size I wear, and be able to pick an outfit out without really having to worry about if it will fit well or not.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In the last four years, I've gone through pregnancy, miscarriage, pregnancy, post-partum depression, and a few really messy breakups. I've also gone to school, became a Licensed Massage Practitioner, and started a new job at a Vascular Surgery clinic. None of these things are excuses, but they've definitely led to a few too many pints of ben&amp;amp;jerry's.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have been given a fantastic opportunity through &lt;a href="http://simaclinic.com/default.aspx"&gt;Sima Medical Clinic&lt;/a&gt; in Woodinville.&lt;br /&gt;I am going to follow the &lt;a href="http://health.howstuffworks.com/wellness/diet-fitness/diets/hcg-diet.htm"&gt;hCG protocol diet&lt;/a&gt; by &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_T._W._Simeons"&gt;Albert T.W. Simeons&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;and have daily &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zerona"&gt;Zerona treatments&lt;/a&gt; for 45 days, starting on October 1st.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The &lt;b&gt;hCG diet &lt;/b&gt;is hardcore. The first two days, you have to binge-eat. I'm not talking, eat an extra serving at dinner. I'm talking, eat until you are full, and stay full for an entire 2-day period. The Simeon's protocol recommends eating milk chocolate, pastries with whipped cream and sugar, fried meats (pork in particular), eggs, bacon, mayonnaise, and bread with thick butter and jam, to name a few.&lt;br /&gt;After "eating to capacity", you spend the next 43 days eating 100 grams of meat, a serving of a single, specific vegetable, and&amp;nbsp;a serving of a single, specific fruit. Tea and coffee, plain, sweetened with Stevia is good. Water is best. It seems crazy. &lt;i&gt;But, you're supposed to lose about a pound a day.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Okay, I'm in :)&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;Zerona&lt;/b&gt; is a low-level laser device developed by Erchonia Corporation for non-invasive body slimming of the waist, hips, and thighs. It has been shown to disrupt fat cell membranes, causing the release of lipids and fatty material, which then promotes adipocyte collapse. The FDA approved Zerona for use as a non-invasive dermatological aesthetic treatment for the reduction of circumference of hips, waist, and thighs in 2010. Clinical study participants who recieved treatment displayed an average loss of 3 1/2 inches across the waist, hips, and thighs in two weeks (compared to study participants who did not receive treatment that exhibited a reduction of .68 inches.)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have agreed to follow the hCG diet, do the daily Zerona treatments, and blog daily, taking pictures once a week (and posting those as well; eek!).
